Wine Dinner – A Probe to Direct to Consumer (DTC) Response: An Alternative Approach to Explore Your

Besides commonly held wine-tasting events for distributors, held a wine dinner on August 16th serving exclusive wines (yet officially launched in the China market) to the wine-lovers at O&T Café in Guangzhou, China. It was an enjoyable evening with great wines, gourmet food and inspiring stories about wine and oak barrel.

The evening started out with a reception drink serving New Zealand’s Sauvignon Blanc with tapas, a refreshing and friendly way to kick off the summer evening. Our speaker, Eddie Wong, shared the history, stories of oak barrel and wine, to acquaint the guests what these 25%, 33% new oak barrel meant to a wine. Guests were given the opportunity to sample a selection of premium red wines provided by Alpha Box & Dice Winery (Australia). They were all impressed with the winemaking philosophy and the wine’s quality.

It was a successful night, we have collected feedback from the guests to help us to improve in upcoming events, as well as insight to the Chinese customers’ preferable taste and flavor. It was great fun for our guests to taste these fabulous wines, meet new people and learn wine knowledge. Our team took note of requests for future wine event themes and expecting us to bring more worldwide quality wines to China.
