Analysis to Q3 2016’s China Imported Wine, Spirits and all Alcoholic Drinks

China imported US$3.24 billion of alcoholic drinks to the end of September 2016, a 16% year-on-year growth. Of wine, spirit, and beer still maintained the similar import product structure which occupied almost 90% of the total import (by value) and wine alone shared the biggest piece (54.8%) of the pie

The data shown that bottled still wine still dominated the total import in value and volume by 93.4% & 76.4% respectively. Sparkling wine kept about the same import volume while price continued in a downward trend. Bulk wine had a slight increase in volume and a moderate 10% adjustment on price.
